On-site measurements are scheduled according to the progress of the works and the location. An intermediate air permeability test is slotted in from the weathertight-shell stage; acceptance measurements are programmed before handover. We confirm the date once we receive the works programme and the drawings.
That is the whole value of an approach by families of buildings. Buildings constructed in the same period, with the same construction principles and often the same contractors, present comparable weaknesses, notably at envelope junctions and separating walls. A measurement campaign on a representative sample makes it possible to characterise these defects once, then to deduce works priorities across the whole stock, without measuring every building.
