Yes. RE2020 measurements are carried out under QUALIBAT 8711 (air permeability) and 8741 (ventilation system checking) qualifications, recognised for regulatory certificates at handover.
On-site measurements are scheduled according to the progress of the works and the location. An intermediate air permeability test is slotted in from the weathertight-shell stage; acceptance measurements are programmed before handover. We confirm the date once we receive the works programme and the drawings.
By objectively assessing what is achievable before committing, rather than noting the gap at delivery. On a protected building, where external insulation and free replacement of joinery are ruled out, certain performance levels are not accessible. A baseline survey makes it possible to set realistic and documented targets, enforceable on both parties. This is more useful than a certificate noting, after the fact, a gap that no one could avoid.
