In Paris, office density, major facilities and the heavy refurbishment of the stock concentrate some of the most demanding MEP needs in France: HVAC sizing for summer comfort under heatwave and urban heat-island conditions, heat pumps and refrigeration plant controlled for acoustics within an ultra-dense fabric, BMS, the BACS decree and smoke control for public-access buildings. The constraints of existing networks and narrow courtyards call for bespoke solutions. We design the HVAC, plumbing, electrical CFO/CFA (power/data) and BMS packages in line with the RE2020 thermal study and equipment acoustics, from concept sketch through to site supervision, for Paris projects.
