Yes. RE2020 measurements are carried out under QUALIBAT 8711 (air permeability) and 8741 (ventilation system checking) qualifications, recognised for regulatory certificates at handover.
On-site measurements are scheduled according to the progress of the works and the location. An intermediate air permeability test is slotted in from the weathertight-shell stage; acceptance measurements are programmed before handover. We confirm the date once we receive the works programme and the drawings.
That is precisely the value of measuring before the snagging is cleared. A gap identified at this stage remains attributable and correctable: repair of leakage points, rebalancing of the ventilation network, treatment of a junction. After handover, the burden of proof and the cost of works shift to the client/developer. Our role as an independent third party is to produce a factual and enforceable finding, whatever the result, and not to validate a target out of complaisance.
