Position
Engineering that produces the evidence, not the verdict.
ARKEMEP works alongside design teams on the technical disciplines that French regulation makes measurable: thermal and summer comfort, life-cycle carbon, acoustics, MEP systems, indoor air quality, photovoltaics. The output is calculation, design and measurement, the material a project is judged on.
What it does not do is certify. Certification is held by a separate entity, accredited by Cofrac under ISO/IEC 17065, and the separation is structural rather than presentational: it is what allows a certificate on a project the group also advised to retain any value.
Method
Model early, measure at the end, and reconcile the two.
French regulation expresses many requirements as measured values on the delivered building. That makes the design calculation a commitment, and it makes the final measurement a verdict. Teams that never reconcile the two learn nothing from either; reconciling them is how a model becomes reliable on the next project.
This is why our measurement activity and our design activity are deliberately not separated by discipline: the same people who model summer comfort also see what the delivered building actually does in August.
Scope

Thermal and carbon, acoustics, MEP systems, indoor air quality and photovoltaics are run by the same team rather than subcontracted separately, because the interactions between them decide most outcomes: ventilation rate against acoustics, glazing against summer comfort, plant location against neighbour noise.
Splitting these across firms produces studies that are individually correct and collectively incoherent, the commonest reason a project satisfies every specialist and still fails at delivery.
